If you’ve been looking for faster way to lose weight and have the body that you’ve longed for, then it’s most likely that you have came across the Old School New Body program. It’s not your typical fitness program as it doesn’t require you to starve yourself, deprive yourself of the food that your taste buds love, not even push you to go beyond 90 minutes of workout. Old School, New Body is a diet training program that combines resistance training and some alterations in one’s diet.

One of the trickiest reviews to look online is health program related reviews. There’s just too many of them promising the same thing. Reading those reviews is like being a kid in a candy land where all sorts of candies are offered all at the same time. Confusing? Yes. Makes it harder to choose? Yes? But if we strip off those that are unnecessary, it’d be easier to choose. It’s the same thing when choosing a diet training program that won’t starve you or deprive you of your favorite food or punish you by pushing you hard to work out for longer hours in the gym. Compared to many diet and fitness programs, this one won’t tell you that you need to go on a fat-free diet or work out for hours in the gym. Although it still requires hardwork, it doesn’t push you beyond your limits. Its instructions and modifications both in diet and exercise are doable by anyone regardless of one’s age.

With its different phases of old school new body exercises, it’s easier for anyone to get into the transition. These exercises are all based from what works for the fitness buff in the past. If you had the chance to browse fitness magazines in those times, you could see that people are fitter yet they do not spend hours in the gym. What they did instead was alter their diet and focus on resistance training. This is what the program is all about.

I’ve tried so many workouts in the past coupled with fat-free and low-calorie diet. I’ve lost some weight but it keeps on coming back after spending the holidays with all my favorite food. One thing that I dislike about those programs is that it still makes me feel ‘fat’ with the flabbiness of my body. I’ve lost weight but I didn’t get to achieve the body that I wanted to have – the kind of body that athletes have: fit and flab-free.

Surprisingly enough, this didn’t require me to work for hours in the gym. Its workout plan doesn’t exceed 90 minutes a week so it gave me more time to do what I love. Although I need to tweak my meals and have to check the paleo recipe book from time to time, I was satisfied.

Now, I have lost weight and the best part of it? I have gained muscle. Fitness science tells us that muscle burns fat even when you’re asleep. The more muscle you have, the more chances to lost weight effortlessly (yes, even when you’re eating your favorite dessert). I won’t settle anything else other than this old school thing.
